Birds fly South & Letter Tt

Birds Fly South…I taught the children 2 rules about birds….Birds have wings. Birds fly south.We made robins today,

the children had fun making their own bird's nest.....

 

and talked about the letter “Tt”…The children enjoyed looking in the rice for letter T and using tweezers to pick them out!  They were good at this!

At the easel today, the children were able to decorate the letter T with stamps &

“Tt” is for Tops! What fun to see how many you can spin at once!!!

 

In Science, we did the Quacking Vibrations experiment.  2 cups, 2 strings, a wet towel, and a dry towel.  We listened for a sound...the dry towel, had NO sound, the wet towel, sounded like a duck!!!  We drew our observations to show what we learned...
