fun with music *Tuesday/Thursday

We made some beautiful music this week!  We got out the drums, rythmn sticks, maracas, bells, harmonicas, triangles... then off we marched like a big Marching Band.

We also enjoyed making a few instruments of our own.  We made tamborines, and shakers to take home and make more music.

The dramatic play center is now a grocery store, stocked with real food!  We are holding a food drive for the month of March and collecting canned goods to donate to the local food shelf.  The food donated is being used for the kids to have fun pretending to be in a grocery store.  They sure enjoy pretending to be the "price checker" and the "shoppers"!
