Today was Beach Day at preschool. The kids had fun coming to school wearing their summer clothes in the middle of WINTER! What fun. We turned up the heat and let the kids 'run' around with their summer clothes. Some of the kids even brought their beach towels. During group time, we had the kids 'sit on the beach' with their beach towels.
Our project today was an Octopus. We read about the octopus and talked about how many legs that an octopus has, what happens if they lose an arm, and some other interesting facts.
We also enjoyed a fun Under the Sea puzzle. We worked together as a team, put the puzzle together and tried to match the fish counters with the puzzle.
Some of the friends used the dominos and made cool designs and watched them all tumble. What a fun day!

I love the Blog! It is helping me understand some of the little things Hayden says at home. Like when we are getting dressed to go out and she is saying "first snowpants, then boots..." Great idea Mrs. Libby!
